Cardiac First Response (CFR) Training at Frontier Medical College

Cardiac First Response (CFR) Training for the students of Frontier Medical College, Abbottabad was held on 19th - 20th October 2010. The training was organized by Institute of Learning Emergency Medicine (ILEM) & Disaster Relief by Irish & Pakistanis (DRIP), in collaboration with Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) in Ireland, National Ambulance Service College (NASC) Ireland. 

The training was facilitated by Dr. Noaman Siddiqui and Dr. Ejaz Afzal faculty members of Ayub Medical College and Mr. Tabarak Ahmed and Mr.Yasir Awan of Disaster Management Center, Abbottabad. Principal FMC, Prof. A.J. Khan appreciated the efforts of ILEM, Pakistan for training healthcare providers in emergency medicine and offered his fully support in establishing a faculty of CFR instructors at FMC.
