Flood Relief Camp at Chalabal Village, Tehsil Pattan, Kohistan

A Flood Relief Camp was conducted by COMSATS University, Abbottabad in collaboration with Ayub Medical College Flood Relief Campaign, Disaster Management Center, Abbottabad on Saturday 30th Oct. 2010 in Chalabal Village, Tehsil Pattan, Kohistan. The coordinator of this activity was Mr. Muhammad Naveed Jan, Assistant Professor, COMSATS assisted by Mr. Liaqat Ali Khan, President, Rotary Club, Abbottabad
  
80 Bags of dry food were distributed among the affected families. A list of most deserving households was prepared with the help of local contact persons. The food bag contained Rice, Sugar, Aata, Biscuits, Cooking Oil, Tea, Powdered Milk and the cost per bag was Rs. 2000 each. The funds for Food items were provided by Disaster Relief by Irish & Pakistanis (DRIP), Ireland
